About the role:
Mercor is looking for video game enthusiasts to annotate gameplay sessions. Your annotations will help train next-generation AI models that learn from real player behavior. This is a remote, flexible, hourly role.
What you will do:
- Annotate assigned games (e.g., Minecraft, open-world or exploration-based games)
- Follow simple annotation instructions (e.g., exploration, basic interactions, task-based play)
- Ensure recordings meet quality requirements (no lag, stable FPS, correct settings)
- Complete structured sessions (typically 15โ60 minutes)
What you need:
- Access to a personal Windows computer
- Comfortable installing recording software for gameplay and input capture
- Reliable internet connection for uploading large video files
- Attention to detail and willingness to follow setup guidelines
Nice to have (but not required):
- Familiarity with Minecraft or similar open-world games
- Experience with data annotation or quality assurance
Important notes:
