About the role:
Mercor is hiring native English (UK) speakers to help capture and evaluate real, natural voice interactions with a next-generation AI assistant, in partnership with a leading AI lab. You’ll use your own Mac to complete everyday tasks by voice, then log and rate the AI’s responses—no technical background required.
What you will do:
- Use your voice to compose messages, emails, and notes across everyday apps
- Direct the AI to take actions like generating images, formatting text, applying spreadsheet formulas, or summarizing documents
- Record accurate transcripts of your spoken queries and produce cleaned-up transcripts
- Rate the AI’s responses and log all task data in a structured tracking sheet
What you need:
- Native or near-native proficiency in English (UK) – raised/native to the United Kingdom preferred
- Must own a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip (M1, M2, or M3) running macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer
- Regular, everyday use of common productivity apps (email, messaging, docs, spreadsheets, browsers)
- Comfortable with detailed, structured data entry and self-directed quality review
- Able to understand and follow instructions in English
Preferred (not required):
- Experience with voice assistants or AI tools
- Background in linguistics, communications, or content creation
Important notes:
- 🖥️ Mac required – must have Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) with macOS Sequoia 15.0+
- 🇬🇧 UK English fluency – native or near-native required
- 🌍 Global location – fully remote, work on your own schedule
- 📋 Independent contractor – not W-2 or freelance project-based
